  • Mountain Sketches (Alto Recorder & Piano, 11 mins) Written for Ross Winters and Richard Leigh Harris.


Duos

  • Carillon (Two Pianos, 12 mins) A study in minimalism and first performed on BBC Radio 3 by Martin Jones and Richard McMahon.
  • Travel Sonata (Violin and Piano, 13 mins) Commissioned by Chloe Hanslip, international violinist. Featuring “The Basque Love Song.”
  • Athena’s Flute (Flute and Harp, 5 mins) Commissioned by Danielle Perrett, international flautist. Available on Turning World CD. Based on Greek myth of Athena.
  • Philomel (Flute and Harpm, 14 mins) On Alabaster Box CD performed by Danielle Perret and Timothy Kipling.

Oboe Quartet

  • Helios (11 mins) For Oboe, Oboe d’Amore, Cor Anglais & Bassoon. Commissioned by Janet Baldwin for the Three Choirs Festival.


String Quartets

  • Quartet No. 1 (In memoriam Benjamin Britten) (28 mins) Commissioned by the BBC and first performed by the Endellion Quartet at St George’s Brandon Hill, Bristol. Broadcasts Radio 3.
  • Quartet No. 2 (In memoriam Peter Racine Fricker) (27 mins) Written for the Endellion Quartet and first performed at The Dorking Halls.
